January/February/March

This post started out and has been in my drafts as the highlights of January but unfortunately is now one for the last three months :/ oops. I haven't had the motivation to blog lately which I'll explain in another post but here we have, totally out of order, obnoxiously long, and without much commentary, the highlight reel of January/February/March 2016 (and some December pics I missed, of course ;P)!

January 16, Zach's counsins Victor and Hope came to visit. We stopped by the antique boat and car show at my work.

Took them to one of our new favorite places, Bahama Breeze :)

Josie's 6th Birthday Party!

January 24th, drove up to Tampa to pick Mitch and Ashley up from the airport and went out to breakfast. Had a wonderful time catching up and experiencing this amazing gem of a restaurant (Pinky's)

We drove back in the afternoon after dropping Mitch and Ashley off at Tampa Airport and hosted our second backyard cookout!

Visitors!! Amanda and Kristi came for the week :)

I took them on the Naples Princess Cruise where we saw Jon Bon Jovi's old house (below)

and the Clorox family's house!

Spent the evening exploring Naples shopping and had a late dinner at CPK :)

My parents came to visit for a week Jan 30-Feb6

Mom and Dad visited me at work and went on my tour. They might not appreciate me including these pictures ;)

Went to SS Hookers seafood with Allen and Connie and we tried oysters for the first time!

For their anniversary, Mom and Dad got a place on Sanibel for three nights and we stayed with them during their last night there. Unfortunately, they picked the coldest week and it was also "red tide" which contributed to lots of dead fish washed up on the beaches!

I bought a Groupon for wine and cheese at a cute new place called Perk and Brew in Cape Coral

The next day we flew to Fort Wayne for a long weekend visiting friends, family, and Leo church

Finished a time consuming DIY project for our house! Bought a cheap (ugly) coffee table off Craigslist, painted it, stained paint stirrers, and laid them in a random pattern under the glass. Turned out pretty well :)

Chloee's 1st Birthday! The first of the three babies to turn 1 :)

Cecily and Whitney visited March 12-21! So enjoyed having them here and exploring new places in our area I hadn't been to yet!

Lolah's turn to have a birthday!! Sadly I took no pictures :(

Cec and Whit helped me with Sunday school twice and created some beautiful artwork for my lessons :)

Zach celebrated his 24th birthday!

So glad I married this guy :)

Andrew and Emily came to visit for a little over 24 hours but sadly I did not get a picture of them :(

Easter Sunday

March 28: Visited Jeff and Sarah up in Sarasota!! We were going to brave Epcot that day during Florida's Spring Break but decided to have a relaxing day exploring Sarasota instead. I'm SO glad we did!!
